A package holiday is a kind of holidays where everything is included,from flight and hotels to entrance fees.The advantage of this type of holidays is that once you have purchased it, you have nothing much to worry (about-from-on),except getting to the group meeting place.From the moment you meet up with the other participants,everything(does-has done- is done) for you.If you (to have-have-had) a problem,the group leader will certainly help you.

The disadvantages of package holidays is that you give up the freedom to go and come whenever you want.The tour will depart (for-at-into) a pre-set time every day.If you feel you have had enough,you cannot just leave,but have to stay with the group for the rest of the day.Being part of a group may also be a strain on (person-personal-personally) relations if you don’t get along with the other members or if you are not interested (in-on-at) the same things.

TEXT ::

Our guided walking tours are a fun and informative way to explore the varied landscape and regions of New Zealand. We travel by minibus, exploring an area and stopping for stunning walks along the way. We visit the ‘must see’ places and also get off the beaten track to discover the ‘real’ New Zealand. In addition to our guided walks there are opportunities to participate in activities such as sea kayaking, a wilderness jet boat trip, hot air ballooning, wine tasting and scenic flights along the way. Each tour is led by two guides, and we take a maximum of 10 clients. This gives us great flexibility in the walking options provided, allowing us to split the group if necessary to offer a spectrum of Grade 1/2/3 walks to suit different levels of walking ability. Most days consist of a half day walk or several shorter walks combined with some bus travel, and sometimes there’s a full day walk. Our

itineraries include a number of two night stopovers to allow time for rest, relaxation and exploration.

We understand the value of a good nights sleep and over the years we’ve spent a lot of time finding unique and memorable accommodation. We stay at comfortable, clean, characterful and well-hosted accommodations including guesthouses, historic hotels, smart motels and lodges. Accommodation is based on double or twinshare, with a combination of private and shared bathroom facilities (mostly private). Most people find our various accommodations add a real local flavour to their experience. You will find links to some of the accommodations we use within the tour itinerary descriptions.

What’s included in the price of my holiday?

PureTrails is committed to providing excellent value for money tours. Accommodation, most meals, guided walks (including Department of Conservation guiding fees), transport, some extra activities and information booklets are all included in the tour price. Additional optional activities are available to enhance your experience, however you will most likely find your PureTrails tour is substantial enough not to warrant spending extra on activities.
